The Generator is an MSD-funded initiative that takes a grass-roots approach to addressing financial hardship in some of New Zealand’s most vulnerable communities.
The Generator is an online platform and support programme designed to improve the financial situation of individuals and whānau and to strengthen communities. It backs Kiwis who are eligible for, or who hold a Community Service Card, who have enterprising ideas to increase income or reduce costs for themselves, their whānau or their community.
The Generator provides a programme of wrap-around support, an online platform, and the seed funding necessary to start an enterprising project.
