Retirement Commission's Survey: Focus on Women

In July 2021 the Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission released a comprehensive New Zealand Financial Capability Survey to explore financial wellbeing with a supplementary report focusing on women.

The findings from the 2021 national survey show that women continue to experience the same issues as in 2019 when it comes to financial wellbeing. The report highlights financial wellbeing gender gaps, challenges, barriers as well as insights on stronger skillsets for women compared to men.
